FLORFAN ( Florfenicol 20% Oral Solution )
Composition: Each ml contains Florfenicol 200 mg.
Overview: Broad-spectrum antibacterial for poultry. Active against Gram-negative, Gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma. For prevention and treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal, and other primary or secondary systemic bacterial infections.
Indications: respiratory disease, enteric infections, and systemic bacterial infections. Susceptible organisms include E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida,Avibacterium paragallinarum , Proteus, Clostridium spp., and Mycoplasma spp.
Dosage & Administration: 0.5 ml per 1 L of drinking water for 3–5 consecutive days. Use medicated water as the only source and prepare fresh daily. Approx. 20 mg/kg/day
Withdrawal Period. Do not use poultry products (meat and eggs) during treatment and for 5 days after the last dose.
