COLIFAN (Colistin Sulfate Oral Solution 2,000,000 IU/ml)
Composition:Each ml contains Colistin Sulfate 2,000,000 IU
Overview:Polypeptide antibiotic with bactericidal activity against Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to colistin. Indicated for gastrointestinal infections such as colibacillosis and salmonellosis.
Dosage & Administration: Poultry: 0.25 ml per 1 L of drinking water for 3 consecutive days (≈ 75,000 IU/kg/day). Calves/Lambs/Kids: 0.25 ml per 10 kg live body weight (≈ 50,000 IU/kg), every 12 h for 3–4 days in drinking water or mixed with liquid feed. Use medicated water as the only source; prepare fresh daily.
Withdrawal Period: Calves/lambs/kids (meat): 7 days. Poultry (meat): 2 days. Eggs: none
